Moving is hard. Change is hard. Living at my parents is easy. Perhaps too easy.
The last two weeks in Maui were crazy, busy, tearful, sad and sleepless. There is so much I could write, I don't know where to start. Maybe later my mind will find clarity. For now, we are in Utah. We have an apartment in Sandy that we haven't moved into. We miss our friends. I miss Maui. I am excited to have new adventures here, in Utah. We did take a drive up the canyon on Sunday and walked in the fall foliage. It was stunning. That was comforting. Then Lily threw a fit about putting clothes over her swimming suit to go to the pool and I got sad again. I think once we get settled, get a routine, make some friends, and get our stuff off the boat, I will be able to muster some positivity. But right now, I am still sad."I would rather get a beating than move"

I know EXACTLY how you feel Meg. My heart is crying for you! Adam didn't want to wear a shirt in the house the first few weeks we were back in Utah, and insisted on wearing his slippers every where we went... it was January!!
You all will adjust, it is a very painful adjustment, but you will adjust.
I hope to see you soon. I will call you next time we are down that way. Please let me know what I can do to help!!
Sorry you are feeling so sad right now! But I am glad that you got there okay. I hope the adjustment goes well for you all.
P.S. I still have a card to send you (if you must know, yes, I did get the lovely package, and it is a card thanking you for said package.) Don't hate me for being a slacker!
We miss you guys. Just back from our 9 day vacation. Go, go, go. Today was the first Sunday back with no Nilsson's... sad. Well, I just had to check in to see how everything was coming along. The fall sounds nice. I am happy for the new adventures that lye ahead for you in Utah. Lots of love and ALOHA!
Sorry you are sad about moving but we would love to hang out some time. Let us know when is good for you so that we can do something before we have to go back to Texas. Send us a facebook email when you get adjusted.
sorry.
So tough! Well I am glad you were on Maui when I was there! (I found your blog from facebook, because you said something about 60 degrees, I am not a stalker.)
Meg, Meg, Meg. Ouch! I am sorry I haven't called, it was so good to talk to you the other day. I think of you constantly, okay, maybe not constantly, but lots and I miss you too, but I am stoked that I have yet another totaly cool friend to visit in Utah and I will visit. Lily will remember, we will all remember and make more memories to remember...later on! Love you!
